Welcome to Inspector Homes! I’m Mathew Halverson, but you can just call me Mat. My roots are planted in the heart of the Midwest, right outside of Stoddard, WI, where I live in the country with my wife and our three Labrador retrievers.

When I’m not inspecting homes, you can find me either hunting, fishing, boating, or attempting to golf. You could also find me in my garage, restoring a 1975 F-150 or tackling remodeling projects around my own home. I also enjoy spending time with my family.

With a diverse background in welding, landscaping, plumbing, concrete work, and carpentry, I bring a wealth of practical experience to the world of home inspections.

The mission is simple: to provide you with an honest, friendly, and approachable home inspection service that reflects the values of the Midwest – hard work, integrity, and genuine care for your home’s well-being.

My goal while doing an inspection is to attentively examine properties, uncover potential issues, and provide a detailed assessment to my client with valuable insights into their prospective or current home’s condition, ensuring their safety and peace of mind.
